Welcome

We are a warm and friendly community of people seeking to be disciples of Jesus, who affirm and welcome all.

We meet for worship at 10am every Sunday.
Come and see - we are an inclusive and caring community.
All are welcome!

We are delighted to welcome children of all ages in our worship services and have a play area in the church available for babies and young children. Separate activities are provided for primary-aged children for part of the service.

Single, married, young or old, we welcome you.

On Sunday mornings, we sing, pray, read the Bible and hear what it means to be a Christian today. Then we chat over a cup of tea or coffee in the hall after the service.

Over the next few weeks our worship will be led as follows:

Sunday 24th March at 10:00am: Palm Sunday, led by Rev Dr Iain Ballard

Thursday 28 March 7:00pm: Maundy Thursday, led by Rev Dr Iain Ballard

Friday 29 March 3:00pm: Good Friday Service, led by Rev Dr Iain Ballard

(See below for details of Good Friday Walk of Witness)

Sunday 31 March 10:00am: Easter Sunday, Communion service, led by Rev Dr Iain Ballard

At our Easter Sunday all age communion service you are invited to bring a flower from home to decorate our Easter Cross which will be put in the Grounds for Hope after the service to share with the wider community. Our older children will be making resurrection buns and there will be toys and Easter activity sheets for younger children. All are welcome as we celebrate that Christ is Risen.

Sunday 7 April 10:00am: led by Mr Edward Royle

Sunday 14 April 10:00am: led by local arrangement

We also meet during the week, for coffee mornings, discipleship groups and social activities:

Service and Walk of Witness from Abbey End to Abbey Fields

Churches together in Kenilworth have suggested that those who are able meet at their own churches to walk as a group to Abbey End, for the service at 10.45am, before walking on to the Abbey Fields for raising of the cross. Hot cross buns and hot drinks to follow at the URC on Abbey Hill.

Those who wish to meet at KMC should gather at 10.15am on Friday, to walk in silence to Abbey End, carrying a palm cross.
